Woodland Wedding in the City

Though not totally in season, a great Winter wedding is always welcome around these parts. I’m sure some of you are deep in the throws of planning your own cold weather fetes so take note. This gem is a little woodland planned by Grit + Gold, woven with garland by Blue Lotus and a bit of sparkle too. It has all the components for a winter wedding gone city glam. We are in love with this winter themed woodland wedding complete with a beautiful bride and groom, lush garland everywhere you look, and just the right amount of sparkle. Sarah + Eric were married at the old Cotton Mill in Mckinney. Bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses from lace to sequin to chiffon in various winter hues. Floral by Blue Lotus was predominate in deep reds and accented with heavy greenery and dusted gray tones. The head table was a beautiful sophisticated design incorporating two large antler pieces belonging to the couple. Additional winter details included a cocoa station that greeted guests upon arrival and a serve yourself pie setup with every flavor you could imagine. Their day was full of intimate moments where everyone was family felt and included.
