There is one word that comes to mind when I sift through this Velveteen Rabbit inspired baby shower gallery and that word is magic. Truly. Not a single thing has been left unearthed, no detail left unthought of. Every moment is absolutely dripping in the loveliest of lovely and I’m, officially, completely blown away. Beautifully captured by the talented Buffy Dekmar and designed by Simply Charming Socials I know exactly who I’ll be going to for any baby showers in my future.
From Buffy.. Designed and orchestrated by Simply Charming Socials, this styled baby shower brunch brings to life a children’s classic, The Velveteen Rabbit. With watercolored hues, soft textures, and organic floral design by Gertie Mae’s, this brunch is quaintly inspired. Pastel velvet and linen are set against the cool neutrals of the Summerour Studios courtyard creating a scene that is both chilling and comforting, much like the familiar story itself. The creative culinary pieces by Sun in my Belly brighten the palette a bit with a range of sweet and savory menu items that compliment the color scheme. A super 8 film by Dekmar Films fits perfectly with the nostalgia of the story, culminating the sweetly styled details and the mood of the day. It was a joy to photograph this occasion.
