Any day we get to feature Lindsay Madden‘s gorgeous work on SMP is a good day. But a day where we get to feature an entire weekend of gorgeously photographed festivities in Turk and Caicos? Well, there isn’t an adjective in the entire dictionary that can describe that. But it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy every last second of their love shoot, welcome dinner and wedding below – and of course there is even more waiting for you right here. Today is a good day indeed.
From Lindsay Madden Photography….Chris & Laura opted for a tropical love shoot before their wedding day to document their time spent on Turks and Caicos. These two were so happy, laid back & in love. I absolutely loved spending the afternoon capturing their beautiful love on the soft, powdery sand and in the turquoise waters of Grace Bay.
From Lindsay Madden Photography… As the blue sky quickly gave way to a peach sunset, Laura, Chris & their guests settled in on the West Deck of the Seven Stars Resort for Chris and Laura’s welcome dinner. Lanterns hung from one palm tree to the next and the guests had a breathtaking view of the sunset over Grace Bay. This was Chris & Laura’s wedding weekend kick off! After a delicious dinner everyone made their way to the beach for a bonfire complete with smores & a major dance party thanks to the islands junkanoo band, We Funk.
From Lindsay Madden Photography…Turks and Caicos is a really special place to have a destination wedding. Laura & Chris are native New Yorkers and share my love & affection for the Caribbean. So when they asked me to fly down to paradise for their wedding, I, of course, said YES! They opted to marry at the Seven Stars Resort which resides right on Grace Bay. Their ceremony took place on the warm sand about an hour prior to the sun setting and their cocktail hour/reception was held in the Apollo Suite of the hotel. The suite itself was a penthouse overlooking the ocean and this offered Chris and Laura’s guests amazing views of the sunset during cocktail hour and front row seats to their surprise fireworks display at the end of the night. Flowers by Environmental Arts decorated the suite with beautiful island flowers & candles. The atmosphere felt warm & inviting which was perfect for their intimate affair. Chris & Laura smiled and laughed throughout the entire day and I was lucky enough to capture their effortlessly beautiful destination wedding.
