When Julia Wade sent along this cozy candlelit affair, I nearly fell off my chair. Because on top of all the romance a girl could ever hope for, it’s a day that balances tradition and modernity in the prettiest of ways. The Cotton Room played the perfect setting, and you can have a peek at the gallery + Heart Stone Films’ lovely capture for lots, lots more.
From Julia Wade… Get ready for some serious fall/winter coziness. My sweet Susan & Justin put their entire heart and soul into this wedding and what resulted was the warmest and most welcoming wedding I think I’ve ever photographed. Glowing candles, the PERFECT bride & groom chairs draped in magnolia leaves, and a handmade (by Susan and her dad!) escort card display complete with tiny keys for each of their guests. All of the letterpress was hand written and designed by the groom.
These two were relaxed, knew their style through and through and executed it with lots of love. The Cotton Room was THEIR perfect backdrop.. Celebrating their love for their city and their roots. Susan’s parents were married in the same church 30+ years ago.
I hope you enjoy this gorgeous downtown loft wedding in beautiful Durham, NC!
