From Julie Livingston Photography… After their wedding, Sarah and Eddie dream of one day living in the beautiful Old Village of Mount Pleasant, SC, just over the Cooper River from Charleston. I have to admit its my dream too. With its old Oak trees creating tunnels over the roads and the warm ocean breeze in the air, its a neighborhood that anyone would be thrilled to call home. We both share a love for a few spots in the area including where Middle Street intersects Center Street and the endless beach at Station 18 on Sullivan’s Island. On a gorgeous and sunny Spring day, I met them in the Old Village and we started our “dream day” photo shoot.
We started out where Center St. meets Middle St. in the lovely Old Village and walked and laughed through the winding streets of picket fences and gorgeous light. The azaleas were in bloom so Eddie was quick to make a small bouquet for his bride. We then traveled to our favorite beach about 3 miles away on Sullivan’s Island where they danced in the soft waves. Eddie’s dad owns a vintage prop plane that has a special place in his heart so we ended the shoot on an airfield across town. I loved watching the love and laughter between these two. They are playful and fun and totally in love with one another. Their family and friends shared with me that the session captured their true love for one another. Sarah is a 5th grade teacher while Eddie is in medical device sales. But if you ask me…I think modeling could be their side job. They were a breeze to work with and I look forward to their December wedding in Pinehurst, NC among the greens of the golf courses and the black ties of the formal affair.
