CONTRACT POSITION: WEDDINGS WRITER
We are on the hunt for a a smart, ultra-talented, wedding obsessed writer in the Boston or NYC area (please only apply if you are located in one of these two cities).
Requirements include:
-Strong eye for style & design
-Working knowledge of weddings, wedding designers, etiquette and trends
-Exceptional understanding of photo layout, including composition, color, laying out posts and pairing images to tell a story
-Knowledge of WordPress + Photoshop + Illustrator
-Great communication skills, upbeat nature
-Willingness to work hard, often nights/weekends
-Great organization
-Solid social media experience, including Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Google + and Instagram
-Understanding of how to promote content, build a conversation online and increase overall engagement
-”Big Picture Thinker” while also understanding the nuances of working with an edited publication
-Ability to think creatively about building a brand online
-Newsletter experience a plus
**Must be based in Boston or NYC area
