See that totally amaze bridge these two are standing on? That’s Keesler Bridge in the bride’s hometown of Greenwood, Mississippi. And not only is it the spot where Matthew proposed to Meagan, but they were the first couple to ever be married on that bridge, thanks to special permission from the town’s mayor. Pretty cool, yes? It doesn’t stop there though. The nearby barn reception was pretty magical too. Here are all the snaps from Annabella Charles Photography…

Meagan says, I’m so happy that we made the decision for Matthew and I not to see each other before the ceremony. It was so much more special walking down the aisle knowing it was the first look and seeing his face during that time.
For makeshift seating on the bridge, we had the opportunity to borrow some antique wooden church pews that belonged to the church that late blues man Robert Johnson attended.
On keeping everything affordable: Wedding budgets are not fun but there ARE ways to cut costs and be efficient. With the help of loved ones, I ended up making the ribbon streamers for leaving the reception, I did my own hair, we filled the entire barn (which was rented bare) with farm tables we had made, hay bales for seating, etc.
