I’m just going to come right out and say it – this Kentucky bride is my new style hero. She planned a whimsy-driven wedding so special it could make Alice in Wonderland herself a tad green with envy. From Whitney Neal Photography…. Samantha and Jonathan’s wedding at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens this past fall was full of whimsy and unique touches. From her custom ceremony arch to her flower girl’s crown, all the details were carefully designed and thought out. The use of soft lavenders, ivories, blues and greens gave the wedding a romantic feel and the touch of gold brought elegance and sophistication.
Samantha wanted a lush and textured bouquet to compliment her lace gown. It was full of dinner plate dahlias, garden roses, tea roses, and dusty miller. Their velvet draped floral covered arch in the botanical garden set a romantic scene for the ceremony. Her bridesmaids wore custom made outfits from Etsy and carried paper pinwheels, made by Samantha herself! One of most personal details from the wedding was Samantha’s jewelry. It was created from love notes Jonathan had written to her over the course of their relationship!
