When Alea Lovely and Jill La Fleur sent over this cozy-as-can-be engagement shoot, I think we let out an office-wide gasp. Because no matter how many lovey dovey couples we’ve seen parade through the webpages of SMP, nothing (and I mean nothing) compares to the pretty we’re about to feast our eyes on this fine Black Friday morn’. From Jill LaFleur… I wanted a cozy fall in love in the fall engagement shoot…loved then pop of color her dress reminded me of the fall leaves. Loved it with her red hair. Natural hair/makeup so as not to out play the dress.
From Alea… Jill Lafleur is wonderful to work with. I had been looking forward to working with her since I met her at a Workshop Jose Villa did in California a couple years ago. The session was styled around fall colors with a air of holiday flavor. The red gown in contrast to the surroundings of the sand dunes , beach , lake and trail really set of the model’s red hair. Jill accessorized her well with a gorgeous leather vest that made her outfit a bit more edgy. The guy had a very nice gray jacket and hat that gave him a complimentary look, not to outshine the girl. Jill got together a sweet picnic for the couple with local treats for the couple enjoy at sunset before we rounded up their shoot and wrapped them in gorgeous pottery barn blankets.
