I think that might be the case for LS Designs and Oak & Owl Florist as well, who crafted this villa affair incorporating all of our favorites – bridesmaids in sparkling gowns, loads of champagne and an alfresco wedding as pretty as they come. Katherine and Chad are a beautiful couple inside and out and were wonderful to work with in designing and planning their dream wedding at Sunstone Villa and Winery. Katherine and Chad were drawn to the idea of using a private home or villa for their wedding, and after looking at several venues in the Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez area, they fell head over heels in love with the Villa at Sunstone Winery. And who can blame them?? The Villa and its surrounding vineyards are breathtaking and created such a romantic atmosphere and backdrop for Katherine and Chad’s celebration. Katherine wanted their wedding to be soft and romantic and to stay true to the natural beauty of the Villa, so we utilized a neutral color pallete and Nancy from Oak & The Owl created gorgeous centerpieces that included some soft pink and blush flowers as well. Nancy is outrageously talented and made Katherine’s dream of a soft, romantic wedding become a reality with her stunning floral design work.
Katherine also added some glamor to their wedding by finding beautiful beaded gowns for her bridesmaids to wear, and by changing into a stunning Badgley Mischka sequined number for the reception. It was definitely a crowd pleaser and she could not have looked more beautiful as she danced the night away!
Katherine and Chad also had a dream team for their photography and cinematography with Patrick Moyer and Ryan Davis from Cloudless Weddings. The images and film speak for themselves, but both teams were incredible to work with and made Katherine and Chad feel so comfortable and at ease.
Whoa Nelly! Catering provided the delicious family style dinner for Katherine and Chad and their guests and also provided most of the beautiful desserts for their rustic and french themed dessert table. The guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the fare was and the beautiful presentation. DJ Anthony Soike from RedShoe productions got the party started and kept all of the guests on the dance floor throughout the night.
As Katherine and Chad were staying at the Villa during their wedding weekend, they also wanted to host a late-night pizza party after the wedding ended. Whoa Nelly! created an amazing custom pizza menu for Katherine and Chad’s after party which they cooked in the wood burning pizza oven on the Villa’s back patio. Congratulations again to Katherine and Chad – it was such a pleasure working with such a wonderful couple!
