Organic, whimsical florals from GreenSinner took on a life of their own and every detail was perfectly planned and styled by Exhale Events. And these colors? Oh, the colors!

From the photographer regarding the concept for this shoot, “Long before I was a photographer, back in high school, I had the pleasure of reading Pablo Neruda’s Sonnet XVII. Even as a teenager, the sonnet moved me, and years later I incorporated a piece of the sonnet into a tattoo.”

“When I was thinking of how for my next shoot I wanted something that made me feel passionate, and excited, and I thought back to the Neruda sonnet.”

“I immediately scrambled, gathering as much inspiration as I could before getting the ball rolling on the shoot.”

“Since this was my passion project, I wanted to bring in the best people I could. I started out by messaging Nicole and Katharine, the powerhouse duo being Exhale Events.

“I knew they could help polish my vision and give me some direction, while helping put together a killer team of vendors.” “Narrowing in on some of elements of the sonnet (shades of topaz, plants and flowers, etc), our spring timeframe, and helping find the perfect venue, we started gathering the vendors. “The amazing Kerry-Ann from K. Flowers Designs came in to design the invitation suites, doing a beautiful print of the sonnet on watercolored paper with gold edges…”“…perfectly complimenting our golden toned Mrs Box and the gold foiled bulbs that would later be used at the place settings on the reception table.”

“Kerry-Ann perfectly nailed our color palette, and her pieces flowed perfectly with the colors of the beautiful Chantel Lauren dress from Angelea at Blanc de Blanc and the painted textures on the layers of the skirt on the dress.”

“Pairing a simple nude heel and delicate gold rings ensured the focus would be on this stunning dress.”

“To accessorize, Kata Banko Couture provided beautiful golf floral earrings with a smoky center stone and a raw crystal and floral crown that our hairstylist, Christy from Simply Captivating incorporated into a soft, romantic style.”

“Clare from Ciel cosmetics pulled some of the beautiful blue tones of the dress into her makeup choices as well.”

GreenSinner created a big, textured, wild bouquet to pair with the soft, romantic bridal look, adding blooming branches filled with little buds. Exhale Events planned three settings in the beautiful room provided by The Johnston Tea House.”

“First was the star of the show from GreenSinner, a fireplace ceremony space overflowing with flowers and candles provided by the Golden Hour Candle Company.”

“The flow of the flowers perfectly framed the couple, creating the perfect location for an intimate spring ceremony. From there, the team crafted a reception table, complete with a beautiful towering centerpiece “growing” from the center of the table.”

“The table featured soft neutral linens from Party Mosaic, place settings from Anthropologie, glassware provided by Glassworks, and beautiful handmade napkin rings from Exhale Events.”

“The table was a dramatic look for the clean, bright room, adding some height and interest against the high ceilings in the space. Lastly, there was a sweet dessert table, with desserts inspired by the Chilean-born Neruda. Mediterra Bakehouse, we love!”

“Featuring several small desserts, the main focus was on the flan instead of a traditional wedding cake, throwing back to the Spanish influence.”
