Roche Harbor Resort (located on San Juan Islands, in Washington State), is a premier destination wedding locale (and popular year round). And if there’s anything we know about the Pacific Northwest — it’s that this locale was made for romance.

With a team of local vendors at the helm, this group of talented team made magic happen on this day. Featuring florals designed to inspire, tabletops styled to the nines, and beautiful stationery designed to coordinate — make no mistake about it, this shoot is a must-see!

Honey Moon (Classic Cocktail, golden to pale peach hues

• 2 ounces apple brandy

• 1/2 ounce Benedictine

• 1/2 ounce dry orange curaçao

• 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice

Steps:

• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, apple brandy, Benedictine, curaçao, and lemon juice. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish as desired.

• Alternative serving suggestion; serve over ice and top with dry apple cider & dash of Angostura bitters.
• Garnish: lemon peel or rose petals to match wedding colors

Cocktail Recipe:

From Kari’s Island Elixirs

Perfect Pair:(Kari’s Island Elixir custom cocktail, pale opaque yellow hue)

• 1 ½ ounces pear eau-de-vie
• ½ ounce ginger liqueur
• ½ ounce honey simple syrup (1:1 honey to water mix)
• ½ ounce fresh lemon juice
• Garnish: candied ginger sugar rim and pear slice

Steps:

• Make the honey simple syrup using a ratio of 1 part honey to 1 part water, mix until dissolved. Rim cocktail glass with a little lemon juice and the sugary bits from the candied ginger. Chill rimmed glasses.
• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, pear eau-de-vie, ginger liqueur, honey simple syrup, and lemon juice. Shake well and strain into rimmed & chilled cocktail glass.

• Garnish as desired with dried or fresh pear slices, or flowered rosemary spring or accent with flowers to match wedding colors.

Belle (Karis Island Elixirs custom cocktail, clear ruby hue)

• 1 ½ dry gin
• ½ ounce Pama Pomegranate liqueur
• ½ ounce cranberry juice
• ½ ounce fresh lime juice

Steps:

• Rim cocktail glass with a little lime juice and sugar. Chill rimmed glasses. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, gin, pomegranate liqueur, cranberry and lime juices.
• Shake well and strain into rimmed and chilled cocktail glass.
