She captured the design work of Wedding Event Designed to a perfect T, but the best detail of all? The love between Jon and Chabely that speaks for itself. Head to the gallery for even more!

From The Bride…We envisioned our wedding to be intimate, romantic and timeless. Jon and I wanted our guests to have a night they would always remember, filled with amazingly good food at a one-of-a-kind venue. Lowndes Grove Plantation was the perfect location for our wedding, it has the grandeur and history we were looking for. The ceremony faced the oak-lined banks of the river. The soft color palette of blush, ivory and gold against the candlelight created the elegant and romantic atmosphere. Guest enjoyed a four course dinner at one of two long tables while listening to live jazz music and overlooking the sunset. Family and friends danced the night away under string bistro lights and a glowing moon. It was an absolutely perfect night filled with love and happiness.

From Marni RothschildChabely and Jon’s wedding was elegant and intimate, two things that I adore in an event! The two long dinner tables under the draped tent were even more dramatic when the sun went down and the candlelight started to glow. I loved how they used every bit of the house and grounds. We did bridal portraits on the second floor, a special “first look” in the sun room, and then ceremony on the lawn overlooking the river. As the sun set, we ventured out on the long dock for a few portraits. Guests enjoyed post-ceremony cocktails surrounded by classic white lounge furniture on the oyster shell patio. After an indulgent dinner and memorable toasts on the tented bluestone patio, guests danced away under twinkle lights on a white dance floor open to the evening sky. While the entire evening was memorable, my favorite detail had to be Chabely’s “something old.” She had a monogrammed shirt cuff from one of her Grandfather’s shirts sewn into the underside of her gown. He was a pharmacist and Chabely has taken the same career path. A touching nod to the strong family ties she and Jon both now share.
