When Ashley originally emailed me about featuring her 30th birthday, she had the audacity to mention that she wouldn’t be offended if it wasn’t the right fit. The right fit!? My god! It’s pretty much the most beautiful thing I’ve ever SEEN. And if this is what turning 30 looks like, you better believe I’m ready for it. From Ashley… I rented out an entire “dude ranch” in the Colorado Mountains and had all my friends and family attend. It was a really intimate weekend with plenty of activities for all..including the kids. Aspen Canyon Ranch is a beautiful rustic ranch that hosts weddings, events, reunions and more so it was no surprise that when choosing the perfect venue for a weekend with friends and family. Aspen Canyon Ranch immediately became our home for the weekend. Surrounded by mountains, family and friends created the perfect backdrop for this event. Its here where you can dream with your eyes open! The weekend began with lunch and activities outdoors near the river followed by a casual dinner in the main lodge that evening. On Saturday morning we started the day with a hike and horseback riding, followed by massages near the river. That evening was the big celebration with a 5 course boho chic dinner in the main lodge and ended with a dance party! It was a weekend we will never forget and thankfully was captured perfectly!
