“Set in the gorgeous modern architecture of the Botanic Research Institute of Texas, this untapped gem of a venue gave my shoot a minimal and high end look with its floor to ceiling windows and unique walls. Starting with the vision of a metal grid backdrop, a balloon garland frame and large dramatic peacock chairs, everything else just fell into place.”

“My sister also had two tri-colored Welsh Corgis (Stetson and Winston) that matched the color scheme perfectly. And when you can add dogs to the shoot ( especially Corgis), why wouldn’t you?”

“The fabulous florals by my favorite florist Kelly McCarter with A Time to Shine Floral Design brought texture and flair while sticking to my strict black and white vibe.”

“Throw a low table with pillows instead of chairs to keep the the look from being too uptight while still feeling couture.”
