Desert Bridals Featuring a Dress Change & A Cactus With Cascading Florals

In case it wasn’t obvious enough — we’re sort of obsessed with Arizona weddings. Because what’s not to like? The landscapes are lovely, the sunlight is unbeatable, and the cool southwest vibes always have us at hello.

That’s why when Moelleux Events sent over this dreamy desert submission with crazy-beautiful captures by Happy Out Photography — we couldn’t hit “accept,” fast enough! The theme for this styled shoot encouraged everyone involved to be themselves and to let their creative talent shine through. And that’s just one reason we’re lovin’ it!

From Moelleux Events, “Katie, the photographer, is from Pittsburgh and couldn’t wait to see the sun shine in Arizona and all the gorgeous landscape that isn’t available at home. She knew the muted tones of the desert paired with the bright accents of the florals & succulents would create a stunning contrast, especially when the warm sunlight shined through.”

“The Emmy Mae Gown was transformed throughout the shoot when we added a full skirt at the end of the shoot. It was so much fun to show how you can easily transform a bridal look. And that movement!”“Such an easy change that made all the difference and the perfection option for brides who are looking to change up their look from ceremony to reception!”An invitation design by Paige Poppe Art was colorful with its painterly feel and truly set the tone for this shoot. 

…while a dreamy cake with marble detailing and succulents dreamt up by Desserts First by Veronica was perfectly bohemian.

 

“For hair, no5hairco created a romantic and elegant half-up style that paired beautifully with the dramatic yet classic make-up look by Nataliya Kovchan. One of our favorite details was the floral cascading design up a huge Saguaro cactus (a last minute decision) which gave the shoot an added dramatic detail that we just loved!”
