They say smiling is contagious. I don’t know who “they” is, but they’re totally right. Because the moment I laid my eyes on this darling duo and their ear to ear grins, I couldn’t help but try one on for myself. That probably has a little something to do with the sheer happiness bursting from every darling moment these two lovebirds shared, from the crazy gorgeous ceremony to the amazing dance party extravaganza at the end of the night. See it all captured perfectly by Brita Photography right here.
From the Brita Photography… Words can’t even begin to describe the love between Emily and Matt. The way he looks at her and the way she sweetly smiles back… we’re so grateful to have captured the little moments they shared together all day, along with their closest friends and family. They are true high school sweethearts and they tied the knot on August 17th, 2013!
I met Emily and all her bridesmaids at the house as they all had their hair and makeup done, while Nick met Matt and his groomsmen (all 10 of them!) at the Dunwoody Country Club. Capturing Emily and Matt’s wedding day was truly like being with good friends. We couldn’t help but share the same happiness and joy, and we were ecstatic for them when they said, “I Do.” It lightly rained in the afternoon, but it actually added to the emotion and romanticism of the day! Something about Matt gently kissing Emily’s forehead with raindrops slightly falling around them…
The evening started off with an incredible, live painting performance by Jared Emerson. Matt and Emily had provided a picture to him from their engagement session… and he painted it live, to the beat of the music, with the whole audience watching in awe. It was an amazing experience, and Matt and Emily have a gorgeous piece of art that they can cherish forever. They celebrated and danced the night away to the amazing Rupert’s Band. All 12 members of the band had every guest on their feet, non-stop dancing and celebrating Matt and Emily!
