After torrential downpours and terrible flooding in Colorado, somehow, this gorgeous wedding was pulled together and without a cloud in the sky. It’s all sunshine and smiles photographed by Sara Hasstedt plus an amazing display of citrus colored blooms by Clementine Divine Designs. See it all unfold right here and be sure to catch this affair in the Smitten Mag Spring Issue debuting April 15!
From the Photographer… Morgan & Andrew’s outdoor wedding took place on September 21st, 2013, the last official day of Summer. Just a week before their wedding in Denver, much of our state of Colorado was ravaged by flash flooding that lasted for several days. Many areas, including many wedding venues, experienced great loss and devastation because of it. Fortunately, their venue was one of only a few wedding venues in Colorado that seemed to escape the catastrophic flooding that others experienced. Metaphorically speaking, their wedding day was a rainbow after the storm. A perfectly sunny, 70 degree day in Denver with only the whitest cotton candy clouds painted across a perfectly blue sky, none of us could have dreamt of better circumstances. They had a sun-kissed afternoon ceremony on the lawn, followed by an evening reception under a large tree strung with bistro lights in “the round”.
