A sneak peek into celebrity weddings – the preparations, rituals, marital vows, guests, finery, food, fun and frolic during the wedding of Tamil actress Sneh…Reblogged 4 years ago from www.youtube.com
You know what every wedding needs? A donkey. A cuter than cute donkey, complete with a little feeding station, so that all of your guests can partake in the world’s sweetest meet and greet. And in addition to all of that fun (+ total adorableness), it wouldn’t hurt if it was as pretty and love-filled as this gorgeous day captured by Austin Imagery. Because this is a day that takes seriously stunning details and marries them with a charming Inn at Wild Rose Hall setting and a whole lot of happy. See it all in the full gallery.
From Austin Imagery… Megan and Andrew’s wedding day on March 15, 2013 was amazing! A vintage-inspired DIY wedding, the bride designed all the key elements of the wedding day including the invitations, all of the wedding day signage including the buntings, the table decor, the adorable table assignment tags and the wedding and reception flowers. The outdoor ceremony under the Texas sky and oak trees was lovely; Megan’s Mom walked her down the aisle and Megan’s best friend was her maid-of-honor while Andrew’s identical twin brother served as the best man. We so enjoyed photographing their wedding and reception at the vintage farmhouse turned wedding venue, The Inn at Wild Rose Hall in Dripping Springs, Texas. We also had a blast photographing the bride, groom and the guests feeding the DONKEYS! After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed the famous Amy’s ice cream in lieu of cake, had fun hamming it up in the vintage 1967 Airstream Photo Booth and dancing until midnight.

This wedding plays out like a dream. The gorgeous light and sweet details almost seem too good to be true, but for this Bride and Groom, it was their wonderful reality. It was a day deserving of their love story, and every gorgeous image captured by Peter & Veronika Photography of their stunning day is waiting for you right here.
From Peter and Veronika… Evka and Michael made a great point with their wedding. That is why it was full of beautiful, fancy, but also perfectly matched details. Evka met Michael a really long time ago. She was 16 years old and she met Michael at a dance club. For a long time they were just friends until a few years later when their friendship became something more.
The Proposal: It was a really beautiful story of one stay at the cottege in Kraliky, Slovac Republic. When the rest of their friends were on a walk, they both stayed in the cottege all alone. Michael popped the question, and Evka’s reaction was very spontaneous. There were even a few teardrops.
The Dress: For the bride, the dress choice was absolutely clear- lace, lace, and again, lace. The true inspiration for her was Grace Kelly’s wedding gown and the brides favorite dress from the Godfather movie.
The Bouquet: From the beginning of the wedding planning, Evka dreamed about a soft pastel color palette for the decor and flowers. The amazing team from Moruska design fulfilled her dreams to the last detail and prepared a beautiful surprise for her. They fill in the wedding bouquet with some poppy heads and this way they made this bouquet like a real dream to bride.
The Paper Windmills: The assignment of the creative bride to the wedding agency was clear. Since the ceremony would take place outdoors, they should include something that can be moved by the breeze during the ceremony into wedding decorations. And the windmills idea was born. Nice thing about that was a great surprise for the groom, because he didn’t know about that wedding decor until the moment of arrival at the ceremony.
Colorful Sneakers: It was a very spontaneous idea for wedding photography. Originally sneakers were designed for the wedding of their friends. The design was made by the groom himself. But they eventually decided to take them to the photoshoot and it was a great idea. And the retro bike fit perfectly together with other beautifully handmade props, colorful sweaters, so hilarious wedding portraits came alive.
Eve for Michael: There are lots of reasons why Michael. With him I am totally happy all the time. We laugh a lot together and for me, he is my greatest support.
Michael for Eve: At the venue, right before the wedding, the lady receptionist asked whether I am stressed. I answered: I am totaly sure; I have no reason to be stressed. You meet a partner who fits you so much only once in a lifetime. And I am that lucky.

We all know that DIY weddings aren’t necessarily easy. They take a lot of hard work and determination, foresight and creativity. In other words, if you are a DIYer out there in SMP-land crafting the heck out of your wedding, I salute you. Because there’s nothing that floors me more than a drop-dead gorgeous day that’s a true labor of love organized by an awesome bride and groom + amazing friends and family. And you know what? This wedding is all of the above + a whole lot of pretty. See every last moment captured by Marie Skerl in the full gallery.
From the Bride… Whimsical, romantic, meaningful and personal. Those are the words I would use to describe the way Mark and I wanted our wedding day to feel.
Mark and I got engaged on October 16, 2012 on the edge of the Fraser River in Fort Langley. While slow dancing, surrounded by flickering candles and photographs documenting our journey together, Mark dropped to one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Nine months later we danced to that same song, on our wedding day.
After our dream-like engagement, we began the fury of wedding preparations and DIY projects. Mark and I LOVE to make things and I have always loved event planning – the little details are what make it so special! We wanted to incorporate Mark’s love of nature and wood (he has a passion for building guitars) and my love of all things romantic and sentimental! I had visions of beautiful fabric bunting and Edison light bulbs draped like a canopy over top of our guests to create an intimate and memorable atmosphere. I wanted our guests to feel like they were a part of our day not just spectators.
We drew on the amazing abilities of our friends wherever we could! Two gifted friends designed our wedding invitations and programs and one of our friends, Christina Willows, with a passion for flowers created our bouquets. Another friend who LOVES to bake, Melissa Suzuki, agreed to take on the task of creating a ‘sweet’ table including homemade cake pops, cookies and jam jar pies! We borrowed mason jars from friends, collected coupons to purchase burlap and, whenever the opportunity presented itself, made (sometimes dangerous) stops by the side of the road to pick up branches and stumps to add to our decor collection! I made the boutonnieres for the guys, Mark and I designed our very own “kissing wheel” and Mark’s mum helped us to sew the beautiful bunting that hung overhead.
The day before our wedding we began the set-up process. Mark, his brothers and his father built a GORGEOUS arch right in the church parking lot! It was an amazing focal point and has now found a home in his parents backyard. We lined the aisle with bunting (borrowed from another friends wedding) and carefully placed the stumps and mason jars filled with flowers from his Aunt’s garden along the stage. Seeing as Mark and I weren’t able to get into the reception venue until the morning of, we hired an INCREDIBLE design team (Alyssa Short Designs) who understood our vision and could make our dream come to life! A very close friend served as our wedding officiant (his first wedding EVER) and he did an amazing job!
We had an incredible team of friends and family who assisted in the planning, set-up and tear down of our wedding. Although a DIY wedding can often be more work, for us it was worth it. We included interactive games for our guests and, accompanied by a friend on the guitar and harmonica, I sang a song for my groom. The highest compliment that was paid to us was, time and time again, hearing “that wedding was SUCH a reflection of you both”. We wanted our love for one another, for life, for our friends and our faith to shine through our wedding.
PS – I could also mention that, with help, I created a mood board for our bridesmaids and groomsmen to help with their attire. I wanted my girls to have a concept of what to wear but to have freedom/flexibility to choose a dress that suited them. Proud moment: none of my girls spent over $40 on their dresses!
